3 Phrases to Describe my Dance Background are:
1. My love of dance is synonymous with my love for my wife. For one of our first dates in high school, I was invited to watch her perform in the nutcracker ballet. That was the first of many, many on-stage performances I have enjoyed over the last 24 years!
2. As a couple, we won our high school talent show when Lynn taught me a ballroom routine to Whitney Houston’s “Run to You” (white tuxedo and all). 4 years later, I proposed to her on that same stage wearing that same tux.
3. As a corporate training leader within the medical device industry, I am always looking for fun & creative ways to educate my colleagues. In 2015, Lynn choreographed and performed a group dance routine in a compliance training video that I had written and directed. We had over 10,000 global views in our debut week and people are still talking about it 7 years later.
Fun fact:
Graphic design and videography has always been a lifelong passion. I previously owned and operated a Wisconsin-based wedding videography business (Silver Screen Romance, LLC) and thoroughly enjoyed meeting new couples and filming their special day. Couldn’t be more excited to leverage this passion and experience to help Megan and Lynn realize their cinematic visions for Schotime Dance Center!
When not at Schotime Dance Center, you can find me volunteering as a Boy Scout leader for Sedalia Troop 637, hiking and camping in the mountains with my family, or off-roading my Jeep across Colorado and Utah.
