A high-energy style that emphasizes rhythm, musicality, confidence, and self-expression through age-appropriate choreography and movement. Dancers will build coordination, groove, and stage presence while having a blast in class.

Hip-Hop Dress Code:

Pants (preferably sweatpants) and a baggy T-Shirt. Clean Soled Sneakers, white will be required for the end of year Final SchoCase.

Students will go more in depth with each individual style to become knowledgeable and skilled in the chosen genre. We offer our core of essentials which are Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical/Contemporary, Tricks/Technique and Athletic Artistry.

A style that began in the streets by dance crews, hip hop is a style created from a long history of culture and music. 

Freestyle movements will be combined with popping, locking and breaking. Students can expect a high energy class that will encourage personality to shine through their own movements and taught choreography. Age-appropriate music can be expected. 

What to Wear for Hip-Hop

Any color/style of comfortable clothing. CLEAN sneakers that are only for dance class. Hair up and out of face. See the rest of our dress code here.
