3 Phrases to Describe my Dance Background are:
1. I have been involved in the dance world for over 37 years, with over 15 years of assisting, teaching, choreographing and directing experience.
2. As a performer, I have extensive experience, dancing at local venues like the Wisconsin State Fair and Milwaukee’s Summerfest to national venues like as DisneyLand and World, in addition to being a member of the SPLASH Dance Team (the former official dance team for the Milwaukee WAVE professional indoor soccer team).
3. As a teacher I have been blessed with many choreography and creative awards, but I will never stop trying to grow to be the best teacher and choreographer I can be; I have had the privilege to continue my education at such venues as the Rhee Gold DanceLife Teacher Conference as well as study under some of my favorite choreographers: Mia Michaels, Mandy Moore and Geo Hubela, to name a few!
Teaches: Ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop
Fun Fact:
After studying Theater Management and Dance in college, I chose to become licensed as a cosmetologist.
When not at Schotime Dance Center, you can find me with my husband, Kevin, and two sons, Walter and Weston. We love to explore together, whether it be for a day hike, camping, road trip or overseas!
